The people here are from all over the map, creating a crazy quilt of cultures. Toronto’s neighborhoods and festivals are like a world tour. Quebec is a place in eastern Canada where French is the big deal, comprised of a population of 8.502 mil, just 60% of the population of Ontario. The capital, Quebec City, is very historic and French, while Montreal is a mix of cultures with artsy stuff and food that’s out of this world. The natural scenery of Quebec is just mind-blowing. And maple syrup, it’s like liquid gold here. Culture-wise, they are all about the arts and literature, and their politics and language are unique. History-wise, they’ve got things like old battlegrounds, like the Plains of Abraham, and they played a big role in the fur trade. There are festivals galore – winter, jazz, comedy, you name it; Quebec knows how to play! Quebec is a mix of French vibes, natural beauty, and a whole lot of cultural flair that’s just waiting to be explored.
